History

Welcome! Thank you for joining us . . .

Historic Christ Church Cathedral is located in downtown Houston on
Texas Avenue, between Fannin and San Jacinto Streets. As Houston's
oldest congregation, we have been an integral part of local life since 1839. This year we celebrate both 150 years of continuous worship, as well as 50 years as cathedral parish of the Diocese of Texas.

MinistryGod has called the community of Christ Church to ministry. The Cathedral provides an abundance of opportunities to grow in God's love. Click here for ministry opportunities by category.
